The inscription of King Nissankamalla (1189 - 1198 AD )

This is found to the right of the Devaraja lena temple. There are 25 lines of inscriptions on a 5' 9" x 3' 6" area. The letters are the Sinhalese alphabet used in 12th and the 13th Centuries. The size of each letter is about one inch .
